Recently, I did a few videos that used the history of Project Management as a lead-in for discussions on project management and using MS Project for beginners. After doing this talk a few times, I thought it would be a good idea to post this video for those of you interested in some historical background. I tried to inject a little humor so hope you enjoy it.
Dislaimer: I am not a historian and did much of this video based on research and old Project Management books, so feel free to comment here.
Go to the Videos page of my blog site to access the video. It is a short running time of about 20 minutes.
Enjoy! -Bill
Project Management evolves as the world evolves. I cave man days, there was minimal need for project management. Going forward, I think we need a very flexible approach of project management, something playing the the ‘agile’ ideal. That being said, it all still comes down to the basics, which can provide the basis for becoming agile.
